Summer Activity for the Pack

Summer is a great time for scouting.  We are looking into several items to make our summer a great scouting summer. We are again trying to have 2 activities for the boys per month so that they can attend at least 1 a month for the Summertime Award.

Awards for the Summer
Every year Cub Scouts have the ability to earn 2 awards over the summer.  The first is the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award.  Many of the boys that go camping with us have earned many of the items to complete this award.  The only mandatory item that is difficult for many boys to finish is the "Attend a Cub Scout day Camp"  In the month of June there are several day camps available across the city. I encourage you to take your son. It's fun for all the boys!!!
